Mirage has been dancing and performing since 1999 and teaching since 2005.  Originally trained in Maine, Mirage has performed thoughout New England and Colorado.  She has studied under such great dancers as Mira, Sadie and Kaya, Artemis, Rachel Brice, Morocco, Amaya, Dahlia, Julia DiVerdi, and Suzanna Del Vecchio, among others.  Her passion for dancing is only matched by her love of teaching.  "I love to see my students gain confidence in their bodies and really make the movements their own."   Mirage was originally attracted to belly dance after having done other forms of dance because of its graceful beauty and the fact that anyone can do it at any age, size, or ability.  Her style is Egyptian Cabaret and has been described as fluid with a love of pops and locks.  She is currently exploring Tribal Fusion Belly Dance.  Mirage is proud to be a co-founder of the dance troupe, Indigo Rain, and is excited to add this new chapter to her belly dance career.

In addition to her Denver and Lafayette classes, Mirage currently teaches private and small group lessons by appointment.

Lafayette - Beginner Belly Dancing, Mondays, 7:00 - 8:00pm

Feel beautiful and learn to express yourself through music and dance in this fun, laid back class.  Beginner Belly Dance will explore basic techniques, isolations and simple choreographies.  Great exercise for any age or body type and requires no prior dance experience.  Learn this exciting ancient art form while building self-esteem and body awareness.  Children 10-15 years old may register with an adult.
